Spa etiquette

Appointments should be made as far in advance as possible. Please notify a  Spa receptionist before booking treatments if you are pregnant, have allergies, high blood pressure, any physical ailments, or disabilities. This will prepare our staff  in advance to provide the best possible Spa treatment or therapy for you. Specify your preference for a male or female therapist. This is also the time to inquire about applicable charges, should you need to cancel your session.                                                                                                                                

Arrive at least 10 to 15 minutes prior to your appointment so you can enjoy an unhurried transition into the spirit of the Spa experience. Arriving late will possibly interfere with your treatment time so therefore, the treatment may not be as effective or therapeutic for you. All appointments will end at their scheduled time so that the next guest will not be delayed.                                                  

Attire should be appropriate to the activities you are planing. For many body treatments, it is customary to undress completely; the therapist will drape and undrape parts of your body as needed; there will be underwear available. However, the spa experience is about serenity and relaxation – disrobe to your level of comfort. We request that all guests take a shower prior to the treatment. We will provide robes and slippers for your convenience.                                                                                                                             

Cancellation Policy ELEMENTS Spa understands that occasionally you may need to cancel an appointment, however, we do ask that you give us fair warning. We require 24 hours notice for all cancellations or you will be charged 25% of your scheduled treatment.                        
                                                                                                                           
The bookings for Day and Half-Day packages will be confirmed on pre-payment. For all Day and Half-Day packages, we request a minimum of 48 hours' notice for any cancellation. No refund of the pre-payment will be given for cancellations made within 48 hours of the treatment time.

Cell phones, PDA’s and laptop computers are not permitted in the Spa. Be considerate of others. Time in the spa should be peacefull, stress-free and serene.                                                   

Children Treatments and facilities are not suitable for those under the age of 16.

Communication with the therapist is important. All aspects of treatment can be modified to suit you, including lighting levels, music, room temperature and whether you choose to have a conversation or enjoy the treatment in silence. Discuss the type of procedure and any concerns you may have. If at any time during the treatment you experience discomfort, tell the therapist. If you want the therapist to give you a deeper massage, or to be gentler, let him or her know.                                                                                                                                       

Conversation in shared areas should be kept to a minimum.It disturbs others and keeps you from relaxing.                                                                                                                                          

Eating and drinking just prior the treatments is not recommended. 
                                                 
Gift vouchers are valid for 1 month and are non-refundable.

Gratuities are not included in the cost of the treatment. The amount you choose to leave will depend on your level of satisfaction; however, 10 to 20% is customary and it can be left in an envelope with the receptionist as you depart. If you have had multiple services from different people (a massage therapist, a facial esthetician, etc.) leave a separate tip for each of them.                   
         
Payments We accept Visa, Visa Electron, Maestro, Master Card and Cash. No checks please.

Valuables should be left in your in-room safe or in the hotel`s safe-deposit boxes. ELEMENTS Spa is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
